Residential Renovation
For this interior design concept, the goal is to create a modern interpretation of a traditional Bahay Kubo. Bahay Kubo is a traditional Filipino house that is made of bamboo, nipa leaves, and other indigenous materials. The design will focus on using natural materials and earthy colors to create a cozy and comfortable space.
The color scheme for this interior design concept will be centered around natural and earthy tones. Neutral colors such as beige, cream, and brown will be used for the walls, with pops of colors added through decorative elements such as throw pillows, curtains, and wall art. Bright and vibrant colors such as red, green, and yellow can be used to add a touch of playfulness to the space.
This renovation is a collaboration between a group of university students and a team of interior designers.
